How to make Puttu with Rava
Rava Steamed Cake (Rava Puttu)
Ingredients
(1) Rava – 500 grams
(2) Grated coconut – ½ cup
(3) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure
Roast rava in a pan. Add salt and water and mix well without formation of lumps. Fix slit in the Puttu maker and fill with alternate layers of soaked rava and grated coconut. Then cook in steam by keeping it over the water pot and boiling the water.
