Palappam making

                       (1) Rice flour – 4 cups
                       (2) Milk – 1 ½ cup
                       (3) Rava – ¼ cup
                        (4) Sugar – 3 tea spoon
                        (5) Salt – adjust to taste
                        (6) Water – as required
                        (7) Yeast – 1 tea spoon


Pour a little water into the rice flour and make it a fine paste. Pour water into the rava and boil. Add ½ cup of slightly hot milk, one tea spoon sugar and yeast cells into that. Add this mixture into the rice flour mix and keep that overnight. Then add one cup of milk, remaining sugar and salt into the mixture, stir and roast the appam.
