Onion Dosai Making at Home

Onion Dosa (Ulli Dosa)

Ingredients

                      (1) Boiled rice – 500 grams
                      (2) Raw rice – 250 grams
                      (3) Black gram – 500 grams
                      (4) Big onion – ½ kg
                      (5) Green chilly – 6
                      (6) Curry leaves – a few
                      (7) Cumin seed – 2 tea spoon

                                                                    
Procedure

Soak raw rice and boiled rice together. Soak the black gram separately. Grind both separately. Grind cumin seed also. Mix rice paste and black gram paste together and add salt. Stir well. Heat the kadai and pour the mixture and spread thick. Then add chopped pieces of small onion.

Chopped round pieces of green chilly and curry leaves and press them gently on the dosa.  Flip the dosa and roast both sides.
