How to make Masala Dosa at Home
(1) Rice – ½ kg
(2) Black gram – 300 grams
(3) Salt – adjust to taste
Grind rice and black gram separately, then mix them together, add salt and keep aside.
Ingredients for masala :
(1) Potato – ½ kg
(2) Big onion – ¾ kg
(3) Curry leaves – a few
(4) Green chilly – 5
(5) Mustard seeds – 1 tea spoon
(6) Coconut oil – 2 table spoon
(7) Turmeric powder – 2 tea spoon
Cook the potato and crush that. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds to splutter. The add pieces of big onion and round pieces of green chilly and stir well. Then add the crushed potato and also add turmeric powder and salt. Stir well and take the pan from the stove.
Heat the kadai and apply oil on that. Then pour the rice black gram mix and spread to the size of a big dosa. Add a little of the potato onion curry on the dosa. Then fold the dosa and press at both ends. Flip again and again till both sides are roasted well.
