How to make Ari Pathiri

Kerala Breakfast Recipes


                                   (1) Raw rice – 1 kg
                                    (2) Coconut milk – 3 cups
                                    (3) Salt – adjust to taste


Soak raw rice in water, grind into flour and sieve. Roast the flour in a pan till it becomes reddish.  Pour coconut milk and add salt into the flour and mix well. Keep it for an hour and then make small balls with the mixture. Keep them on a board, press and spread in round shape. Roast the pieces on a kadai. Flip them so as to roast both sides .
