Wheat Onion Kozhukkatta : Gothampu Ulli Kozhukkatta
(1) Wheat – ½ kg
(2) Grated coconut – 300 grams
Cumin seed powder – ½ tea spoon
Salt – adjust to taste
(3) Small onion – ¾ kg
Green chilly - 4 Nos.
Coconut oil – 2 spoons
Mustard seeds – 1 tea spoon
Add grated coconut, cumin seed powder, salt and water into the wheat flour and mix thoroughly. Heat coconut oil in a pan and add mustard seeds to splutter. Then roast chopped pieces of small onion, green chilly and salt in that oil.
Take a little of the wheat flour mix and spread it in circular shape. Add a little of the roasted onion mix at the center. Mix them and make it a ball. Keep the balls in an idly maker and cook them in steam.
