How to make Vegetable Pizza at home
Vegetable Pizza making at Home
Ingredients :
(1) Maida flour – ½ kg
(2) Yeast – 20 grams
(3) Sugar – 3 table spoon
(4) Salt – 10 grams
(5) Milk powder – 15 grams
(6) Dalda – 30 grams
(7) Water – 30 ml
(8) Garlic – 5 pellets (chopped)
For Tomato mix:
(1) Tomato – ½ kg
(2) Big onion – ¼ kg (chopped)
(3) Ginger – 2 pieces (chopped)
(4) Garlic paste – ½ table spoon
(5) Refined vegetable oil – 50 ml
(6) Salt, pepper powder – as required
Other ingredients :
(1) Capsicum – as required
(2) Mushroom – as required
(3) Onion chopped into round pieces – as required
(4) Tomato chopped into round pieces – as required
(5) Cheese – as required
Procedure:
Mix the yeast with half tea spoon sugar in a little hot water and keep for 5 minutes. When the yeast starts to foam, stir mildly.
Sieve the maida flour thoroughly. Keep that in a deep bottomed vessel. Make a pit at the center of the flour and add yeast and other ingredients into that pit. Then mix thoroughly and keep that for 30 minutes. The flour will start to ferment, get soaked and it will rise inside the vessel. Spread the maida in a broad vessel and add the tomato mix on that. Sprinkle grated cheese at the top and keep the mixture inside an oven kept at 400 degrees F. Bake that either for 15 to 20 minutes or till the top portion becomes brownish.
Preparation of tomato mix
Keep the tomato in boiling water for 5 minutes. Then take that out, remove the skin and smash. Heat oil in a pan and add ginger and garlic into that and stir. When they are roasted add pieces of big onion and heat that. Then add the smashed tomato and boil. When it becomes thick add salt and pepper and take out. If it tastes too sour, a little sugar may be added.
