Idli Making at Home
Ingredients
(1) Rice – 1 kg
(2) Black grams – 400 grams
(3) Green chilly – 4
(4) Ginger – 1 piece
(5) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure :
Soak and grind rice and black gram separately. Then mix them and add pieces of green chilly and ginger. Then add salt and water and keep for fermentation. Spread a soaked white cloth on the plate of the idli maker and pour the mixture on that and cook the idlis in steam.
