How to prepare baby corn curry recipes
Baby corns are like normal corns ,but they are cultivated much earlier
before they turn to be ‘adult corns’ .Here is a curry using
baby corn ,baby corn curries are very nutritious & is more tastier
than adult corn curry .Most of the baby corns are cultivated in Asian
conntries as the cultivation of baby corn requires huge labor that which
is not affordable in western countries .
The main ingredients used for baby corn curry are baby corns,tomatoes,onions,ground
nut powder,chilli powder,etc ,here is a list of all ingredients required
for baby corn curry is given below.
1 kg/35 oz baby Corn peeled
3-4 medium size tomatoes
3 onions
1 cup roasted groundnut powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chilli Powder
Coriander Leaves finely chopped
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp onion seeds
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds
1/4 tsp sounf (Ani seeds)
2 tbsp oil
Prepare to cook baby corn curry
Peel the baby corns & cut into 1 inch pieces
Cook the baby corn pieces till they are done
Grind tomato to fine paste
Roast the ground nut powder
Chop coriander leaves
Method of cooking baby corn curry recipe
Take a pan & heat oil ,when the oil is hot add the seasonings –that
is –onion seeds,mustard seeds,cumin seeds,fenugreek seeds ,sounf
etc & let them splutter,after spluttering add the ground onion paste
& sauté till the raw smell disappears .Now add the tomato puree
or paste and cook for few minutes ,now add the chilli powder and powdered
& roasted ground nut powder ,cook for few minutes,now add the cooked
baby corn & boil for 5 mins,now add salt to taste .
Now our baby corn curry recipe is ready ,remove the baby corn curry from
the heat .Transfer the baby corn curry to a serving bowl & garnish
it with coriander leaves .
Baby corn curry receipe is best to be served with Chappathis,Parathas,&
Poories .
