Corn Pulao recipe is another corn recipe,which could be prepared with
corns available in the market .This corn pulao may remembers you about
other Pulavoos like egg pulao,vegetable pulao,chicken pulao,methi pulao
etc . Pulao also known as Pilaf, polo , polao, pilau, pilav, pilaff, plov
or pulao .
Let us have a look into the ingredients required to make this corn pulao
recipe – corn,rice,garam masala powder,cumin seeds,mustard seeds,haldi
powder,green chillies,onions,coriander leaves,& salt to taste .
Ingredients:
• ½ cup Corn
• 1 cup Rice
• ½ tsp Garam Masala Powder
• ½ tsp Cumin Seeds (jeera)
• ½ tsp Mustard Seeds
• ½ tsp Haldi (turmeric) Powder
• 2 Green Chillies (finely chopped)
• 2 Onions (finely chopped)
• 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves (finely chopped)
• Salt to taste
• 3 tbsp Oil
How to prepare to cook corn pulao
Clean the corn & boil one cup corn with salt & water ,when it
is boiled ,keep it aside,
In a pressure cooker cook rice ,with required water
Chop green chillies
Chop onions
Chop coriander leaves
Method of cooking Corn Pulao
Take a pan ,heat oil in it ,add the seasonings- mustard,cumin seeds when
the oil is hot , let them to splutter,after spluttering the seasonings
for cron pulao ,add green chillies & stir for a while ,now put onions
and fry till they turn brown ,now add the garam masala ,haldi powder,and
boiled corn with salt to taste .Mix this mixture well ,add the boiled
rice to it & sauté for a while to mix well so that the rice
get mixed well with the masala powder.
Now our Corn Pulao is ready ,remove it from heat & garnish it with
coriander leaves .Enjoy this tasty and spicy corn pulavu with raita and
curry .
