Baby corn gravy recipe is a gravy based corn recipe made with baby corns
,baby corns are normal corns but cultivated earlier than the adult corns
.
In most of the corn recipes the corn/corn seeds will be pre cooked before
adding to the gravy .We may require 6 baby corns with two onions,tomatoes,mustard
seeds,fennel seeds,ginger garlic paste,chilli powder,coriander powder,garam
masala powder & coriander leaves to prepare baby corn gravy recipe
.
Ingredients:
6 - babycorns
2 - onions
2 - tomatoes
1 tsp - oil
1 tsp - mustard seeds
1 tsp - fennel seeds
1 tbs - ginger & garlic paste
1 tsp - chilli powder
1 tsp - coriander powder
2 tsp - garam masala powder
coriander leaves
salt to taste
Prepare to cook baby corn gravy recipes
Cook baby corns in a pressure cook ,with little salt ,cooked baby corns
are soft – drain out the water used to cook the baby corns .Cut
the cooked baby corns into small pieces & aside .
Chop the onions
Chop the tomatoes
Make ginger garlic paste
Chop coriander leaves
Method of cooking baby corn gravy recipes
Take a thick bottomed pan ,heat oil ,now add mustard & fennel seeds
,allow it to splutter,now add the chopped onions and fry till they turn
golden color,now add the ginger garlic paste and fry well ,now add the
chopped tomatoes and fry thoroughly ,now add the masalas – chilli
powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder to the mixture & fry till
its raw smell disappears .
Now add little water and close the pan with a lid and cook for about 2
mins .Now our baby corn gravy recipe is ready to be served with naan or
chapaati .
Transfer the baby corn gravy recipe to a serving bowl & garnish it
with chopped coriander leaves .
