Aloo peas masala or potato peas masala is a tasty & healthy recipe which could be easily prepared & served along with chapattis .
The method of cooking aloo peas masala receipe involves cooking big pieces of potatoes & peas along with other seasoning ingredients & with masala powders .
Ingredients for cooking aloo peas masala recipe is given below .

Potato Peas Masala

2 large potatoes boiled, peeled
1 cup peas boiled, drained
1 onion grated
1 tomato grated
1 tsp. Ginger grated
1/2 tsp. Garlic grated
1 stalk curry leaves
1 tsp. Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
1 tsp. Red chilli powder
1/2 tsp. Dhania (coriander seed) powder
1/4 tsp. Turmeric powder
3-4 pinches asafoetida
3tbsp. Curds or yoghurt
salt to taste
1/2 tsp. Each cumin & mustard seeds
1 tbsp. Oil

Aloo peas masala curry Preparation
• Peel & cut potatoes(aloo) into big pieces
• Cook peas & drain
• Chop onion
• Chop tomatoes
• Grate garlic & ginger
• Chop coriander leaves
• Keep ready other aloo peas masala ingredients

How to cook aloo pea masala receipe

Heat oil in a pan ,splutter cumin & mustard seeds . Now add minced ginger & garlic sauté it ,add onions ,sauté for a while ,Now add tomato & stir it till oil seperates from the mixture .
Now add all masala powders ,curd & salt to taste –stir & fry the mixture till it boils .
Now add potatoes & peas- add half cup water & let it boil the mixture in low flame till the gravy thickens .Now the aloo pea masala recipe is ready to be garnished with chopped coriander leaves .
Transfer the aloo pea masala recipe to serving dish & garnish aloo pea masala with chopped coriander leaves .
Serve aloo peas masala recipe with chapattis .
