Chilli Chicken fry that too in Andhra style : Chilli chicken fry Andhra
style is the recipe we are going to prepare here .Chilli chicken fry is
my favourite dish to accompany paratha .
Andhra Chilli chicken fry is little more hot & spicy than other chilly
chicken fry ,the main ingredients required for cooking Andhra style chilli
chicken fry recipes are chicken,onions,pepper corns,ginger,garlic,coriander
leaves,mint,green chillies,garam masala powder,chilli powder,turmeric
powder,tamarind & tomatoes
Here is the list of ingredients required for cooking chilli chicken Andhra
style recipe .
Chicken Chilli fry Ingredients:
1/2 kg chicken;
3 large onions;
Salt to taste;
2” piece ginger;
6-8 pods garlic;
1 bunch each fresh coriander & Mint;
4-5 Green chilies;
1-1 ½ tspn. Garam Masala pwd;
1 ½ tspn Chillie powder;
¼-1/2 level tspn turmeric pwd;
a small marble sized ball of tamarind mixed in 1 cup of water.
Tomatoes 2 med size finely chopped.
Preparation of Andhra Style chilly chicken fry recipe
• Clean chicken & cut into small pieces ,drain water
• In a pot cook chicken with little water just to cover along with
one sliced onion,pepper corns ,turmeric powder & salt for 20 mins
–Keep it aside
• Slice onions
• Mince ginger
• Mince garlic
• Mince chillies
• Chop coriander leaves
• Chop mint leaves
Method of cooking Andhra style chilli chicken fry receipe
In a pan heat oil ,add onions & sauté for a while till the
onion turn its color ,now add other chopped vegetables & fry in low
flame for 3 mins,now add the chilli powder & continue frying for another
2 mins ,now add the chopped tomaroes & fry till the tomatoes are soft
,now add the boiled mear and soup .Cook for 5-8 mins ,now add the tamarind
pulp & continue cooking until the gravy is thick ,Now add garam masala
powder ,mix well –now our Andhra style chilli chicken fry is ready
,remove it from heat ,switch off the stove .
Serve Andhra style chilli chicken fry with hot rice .
