ingredients – tender chicken,onion,ginger garlic paste ,chilli powder,coriander
powder,pepper powder, etc.
Chicken pieces - 200 gms
Onion - 1 medium
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder a pinch
Pepper powder - 3/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tsp
Coriander leaves few
Preparation of Andhra style chicken fry recipe
• Clean chicken & make it small pieces
• Slice onion thin
• Make ginger garlic paste
• Chop coriander leaves
Method of cooking Chicken fry recipe in Andhra style
Add oil to a pre heated pan ,add onion to the pan when the oil is hot
,always add ingredients to hot oil ,otherwise the ingredients will absorb
more oil .
Saute the onion slices till they turn brown ,now add ginger paste &
sauté till the raw smell disappears .Now add the chicken pieces
,sauté few seconds,now add chilli powder,coriander powder,turmeric
powder & salt ,Cover the pan with a lid & cook in high flame for
5 mins ,stir inbetween to avoid any sticking .
After 5 mins keep simmer the curry for another 15 mins till the chicken
well cooked ,the chicken will be cooked in the steam itself ,so remember
to cover the pan with proper lid so that steam will not escape .
Now remove the cover & add pepper powder,Mix well and garnish with
chopped coriander leaves .
