Andhra style chilli chicken recipe is easy to prepare
,Andra style chilli chicken is also known as hyderabadi chilli chicken
.The method of cooking all chilli chicken recipies is almost same ,but
with slight variations regionally .
Ingredients required for making Andhra style chilli chicken recipe includes
good quality tender chicken drumsticks,onion,green chillies,ginger garlic
& ingredients for making the ground paste .
Andhra style chicken ingredients .
12 chicken drumsticks
3 onions, finely chopped
10-12 green chillies, finely chopped
2 tbsp finely chopped ginger
2 tbsp finely chopped garlic
2 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
To be ground together:
2 cinnamon sticks (dalchini)
4-5 cloves
1 tbsp coriander seeds (dhaniya)
¼ tsp fenugreek seeds (methi)
¼ tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
¼ tsp Fennel seeds (saunf)
1 tbsp dried fenugreek powder (kasuri methi)
1 tsp kaloova
Preparation of Andhra style chilli chicken recipe
• Clean the chicken pieces
• Chop onions
• Chop chillies
• Mince ginger & garlic
• Ground the ground masala ingredients together to make a fine paste
.
Method of cooking Andhra style chilli chicken recipe
Take a thick bottomed pan ,on the stove & add oil ,when the oil is
hot add chopped onion & fry till they turn soft ,now add the chicken
pices & stir for few minutes ,now add the chopped green chillies &
cook until all the water is evaporated ,now add the minced ginger &
garlic & fry till the chicken is almost done .Now add the ground spices
& salt mix well – Cook for few minutes ,add half cup water &
cook till the water evaporates ,now our Andhra style chilli chicken is
ready to be served with green chutney .
Transfer the hot Andhra Style Chilli chicken to a serving bowl .
